Ekiti Election 2018 Result Sorting & Counting Has Commenced

Currently the Ekiti Election 2018 Result Sorting & Counting Has Commenced in most Polling units. They have started counting result at unit 4, ward 3, 58 PDP, and 31 APC. The Ekiti State PDP governorship aspirant, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, was unable to cast his vote.

The PDP governorship candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola, has not been able to vote at his Unit 007 Ward 2 in Ikere because the card reader could not read his permanent voter card.

From the result leased so far, as you can see on the image above here APC is leading with twenty seven (27) votes at Ward 7, Unit 1. Efon Alaye. Voting are still ongoing with large turn out and voters generally conducting themselves in an orderly manner.

INEC officials in Ilejemeje LG, Oke-Iye Ward 6, Unit 4, In front of Aafin Oniye of Iye are still waiting till 2pm for them to begin collation as there are no voters on the queue.

As you can see on the above image voters on the queue, the inec officials is to commence result sorting & counting at Ilejemeje LG, Oke-Iye Ward 6, Unit 4. While we got report in L.G.A: Oye Ward: Federal Housing Estate P:U: 002 Time: 1:15pm of vote buying.

Turnout impressive at Ward 9, Unit 20 & 21, Salaudeen Nursery & Primary school, Opopogboro (Adebayo), Ado- Ekiti.

Counting ongoing at Ward 9 unit 005, Shakume Village Imesi ward, you can see below image.

We got information of vote buying and voters flashing the ballot paper in Ado local government, Irona ward 11 unit 005, security men on ground not doing anything about it. Different parts in Ekiti showing voters accrediting/casting their votes

As voters turn out to elect a governor for Ekiti State, we again call on all stakeholders in the election to ensure the process is smooth, credible and peaceful. Democracy wins when everyone plays by the rules.

Please note that all the voter in #Ekiti Decides 2018 should request for polling units results are posted at your polling unit using this form EC 60 E. All presiding officers are required to post the results for openness and transparency.
